Create your business account

Register your business in four short steps, verify your email, and submit the application for approval.

Registering creates your workspace and your owner login in one go. It takes a few minutes, and you need access to the email address you register with, because the portal sends a code to it before you can continue.

Before you start

  • Have your business name and, if you have one, your GST number ready. The GST number is optional and can be added later under Settings.
  • Use an email address you check regularly. Approval notices go there.

Steps

  1. Open the portal and click Register Business under the sign-in form.

  2. On Personal Details, enter your Full Name, Email Address, Phone Number and a Password, then repeat it under Confirm Password. The page tells you straight away if the email already has an account; click Sign in instead in that case.

  3. Click Next: Verify Email. A 6-digit code is sent to the email you entered.

  4. On Check your inbox, type the code and click Verify & Continue. Use Change Details if you mistyped the email.

  5. On Business Information, enter your Business Name and, if you have one, your GST Number (Optional). The portal checks that a GST number is in the right format before it lets you continue. Click Next: Location.

  6. On Location Pickup, search for your address under Set Business Location and drop the pin on your building.

  7. Tick the box to agree to the Terms of Service and Privacy Notice, then click Submit for Approval.

You see Application Submitted! with the note Your application is under review. Click Back to Login to return to the sign-in page.

Troubleshooting

  • The code never arrives. Check the spam folder, then use the resend link once its countdown ends. If the email address was wrong, click Change Details and correct it.
  • The GST number is rejected. A GSTIN is 15 characters and includes a check digit; the portal validates both. Copy it from your GST certificate rather than typing from memory, or leave it blank and add it later.
  • You cannot pass the location step. The map needs an address it can find. Try the street or locality name instead of the building name.
